Hello and welcome! My name is Arthur Khachatryan. I am the author of the book, Cold and Lonely Truth, and this is its companion blog. I wanted to briefly introduce you to the theme of Cold and Lonely Truth and the topics to be covered here – my aim is to discuss the nature of the real world, the nature of truth, the many pitfalls that we encounter as we try to recognize truth, and the various forms of subjective intrusion on our ability to see the objective reality.
Inevitably the discussion soon leads to many levels of great implications of meaning and purpose culminating in the grandest of all realities, namely God. This blog is, therefore, aimed at showing the many reasonable lines of evidence that point to an omniscient, omnipotent God. We consider the natural order in all things created, an incredibly intricate design of conglomeration of natural subsystems conspiring to allow for life.
Specifically this blog, as does the book, will include philosophical, theological, scientific, historical and archaeological topics with the intent to show that the natural world is the byproduct of a supreme Creator, that our purpose, meaning and true fulfillment can only be found through this Creator, and that in many cases the only barriers to believing in such a Creator are those of the heart, not the mind.
Last, but not least, this blog will also contain commentary on relevant news events of our day as they pertain to the topics of interest.
